Hyundai i20 New-Gen
Recently at a dealership, Hyundai i20 New-Gen was spotted. The car is scheduled to launch in November this year.
Earlier, the New-Gen i20 was scheduled to be launched in mid-2020, but due to the pandemic, the launch was delayed and rescheduled.
The spotted car at the dealership was equipped with a manual transmission. It is expected that i20 will be launched with any of the engines from these- the 1.0-Liter T-Gdi, 1.2-Liter MPi Petrol, and 1.5-Liter diesel.
The exteriors and the interiors of the car are completely changed. The headlights, taillights, and the indicators in the ORVMs are expected to be LEDs. The front of the car looks sharper, and the size of the front grille has been increased.
New dual-toned 17-inch alloys look similar to Hyundai Verna’s alloys, shark fin antenna, chrome door handles, and chrome finishes all the way from a to c-pillar.
The interiors of the i20 carry the new design language of Hyundai. The steering wheel looks similar to the new Creta’s wheel along with mounted controls for infotainment, cruise control, two TFT displays, one for 10.25 touchscreen infotainment, and the other for the instrument cluster.
That was not over, the car is also equipped with a start/stop button, climate-controlled A/c, horizontal lines running on the dashboard meets the air vents, and A/c vents for the rear row of passengers.
The interiors of the Hyundai i20 mostly will be in black theme, because of which the interiors of the car will not be that airy. Hyundai should also give an option of bridge interiors as it is in the current generation i20 as it feels much premium and airy.
