The 2021 Isuzu MU-X has been revealed in the global market. The exteriors and the interiors of the SUV have been updated now.
The 2021 MU-X now looks sharper and appealing in terms of looks. The interiors of the SUV now have that premium touch in it.
Isuzu MU-X is an SUV built on the body-on-frame SUV, and the manufacturer claims that it will increase the driving stability and the riding comfort of the SUV.
Speaking about the exteriors of the SUV, as mentioned above, it is now fresher and completely upgraded with all LED projector headlight setup along with LED DRLs, sportier front bumper along with LED fog lamps, front grille along with chrome finish along and inside it and ISUZU written above the grille on chrome in bold letters.
The sides of the MU-X look decent, along with 20-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, option for 18-inch and 17-inch alloy wheels will also be provided, footpeg to climb in the SUV, chrome running below the windows from a-pillar to c-pillar and ORVMs along with indicators integrated into them.
The rear of the SUV gets split LED tail lights, new housing for the rear fog lamps along with reflectors, skid plates, and a shark fin antenna placed at the roof.
Coming to the interiors of the 2021 Isuzu MU-X, it is equipped with, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone automatic climate control A/c, ambient lightning, steering mounted controls, digital and analog instrument cluster, electronic parking brake and premium leather seating.
The list is not over yet, as it also includes push-button start, electric tailgate, 8-way adjustable driver seat, remote engine start/stop, paddle shifters, and reclining mechanism for third-row passengers.
Isuzu has insured the safety of the passengers by providing 6-airbags, ABS along with EBD, traction control, different driving modes, rear parking camera, and rear and front parking sensors.
With the provision of Level-1 autonomous driving features, the safety has been further enhanced as it additionally gets adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, front collision warning, lane departure warning and, parallel park assist.
The 2021 Isuzu MU-X will be having, two engine options to opt from, the first one is the 1.9-Liter turbocharged petrol engine which, is capable of producing power of 150 PS and 350 Nm torque.
Whereas the second engine happens to be the 3.0-Liter turbocharged diesel engine, which will be producing a max power of 190 PS, and the peak torque will be at 450 Nm.
The 1.9-Liter Turbocharged petrol engine will be available with both the transmissions, the 6-speed manual, and the 6-speed automatic.
Further, the 3.0-Liter turbocharged diesel engine will be mated with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. No option for a 6-speed manual will be available with this particular engine option.
The launch of the MU-X will be taking place on 9th November in Thailand. As of now, the launch date in the Indian market is not yet confirmed.
