2021 Mahindra Thar DC Body Kit
Recently DC has revealed the body kit for the 2021 Mahindra Thar. In the Dc body kit, the car looks taller and wider as well.
According to DC, the body kit makes “Hummers look weak and insipid”
The body kit on the new Mahindra Thar gives a completely new look at the front and the rear of the Thar. If compared, the car looks bulky as well.
The DC body kit offers changes like the new 7-slat front grille, smaller and slimmer projector headlamps, new front bumper, and re-styled bonnet as well.
At the rear, the changes are, the taillights are redesigned along with a bumper and spare off-roading wheels. The off-roading wheels get steel rims.
With the implementation of the body kit, the height of the Thar has increased, resulting in increasing the ground clearance and making it better for off-road use.
The hardtop and the windshield of the Thar have also been redesigned, which may slightly increase the headroom of the passengers inside the car.
As of now, DC has not revealed the images of the interiors of the 2021 Mahindra Thar. But still, the exterior changes are remarkable by the DC team.
Speaking about the mechanical changes, nothing has been changed and remains the same as it is. The same engine options will be offered in the DC body kit as well.
2.0-Liter Petrol Engine
The 2.0-Liter mStallion 150 turbo petrol engine produces 150 HP, and the max torque output happens to be 320 Nm and 300 Nm for manual transmission.
This particular engine is available in both the transmissions, manual and automatic as well.
2.2-Liter Diesel Engine
The 2.2-Liter mHawk 130 turbo diesel engine produces 130 HP, and the torque output of both the transmissions remains the same at 300 Nm.
Whereas this particular 2.2-Liter engine will also be available in both the transmission’s manual and automatic.
Pricing & Sale
The pricing of the DC body kit is not revealed as of now, whereas the kit will be on sale mostly by November 2021.
