Honda City 2021 Hatchback
Globally, Honda City 2021 hatchback has been unveiled. The hatchback will primarily go on sale in the Thailand automobile market and then in the other markets.
Honda City was first introduced as a hatchback globally in 1981, and later on, it was launched as the Honda City sedan.
The design language of the City hatchback remains the same as the current generation sedan, until the c-pillar.
Changes have been made from the c-pillar, and the boot has been cut down, giving the City the hatchback look.
The taillights are identical to the City Sedan and resemble a lot with them. Some changes can be observed at the rear bumper.
The rear bumper looks more sporty with a flux diffuser finished in black along with vertical air vents integrated into it.
An option for Honda City Hatchback RS is available, which is equipped with black alloy wheels, sporty front and rear bumper, gloss black front grille, and ORVMs.
Some additional features include sportier illumination for the instrument cluster, rear passenger armrest, paddle shifters, 6-airbags, and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment screen.
Rest the features remain the same as the Honda City 2021, with automatic climate-controlled A/c, parking cameras, cruise control, 8-speaker setup, and some connected features.
Honda City Hatchback is powered with a 1.0-Liter Turbo petrol engine which, is capable of churning out 120 Hp of power and 173 Nm of torque.
The 1.0-Liter Turbo engine is mated with a 6-speed CVT automatic gearbox.
As of now, Honda has not made any official announcements regarding the launch in the Indian automobile market.
