The BMW X5 M Competition has been launched in the Indian market with a price tag of Rupees 1.94 Crores. (Ex-Showroom)
With the launch, the carmaker has also started taking the bookings for the SUV, as the X5 M will be an imported (CBU) unit.
The X5 M will be the SUV for those who want performance along with some dashing and eye-catchy looks.
As we move on to the exteriors of the SUV, it will be equipped with a massive front grille along with some large air intakes on the front bumper, enhancing the front looks of the X5 M.
Taking a glance at the sides, the SUV gets 21-inch alloys at the front and 22-inch alloys at the rear. Air inserts can also be noticed placed on either side.
Coming to the rear, the BMW X5 M Competition gets a rear roof spoiler along with a tailgate integrated spoiler, gloss black rear cladding, and a quad exhaust setup.
The Interior of the SUV gets a premium leather finish all over, sports seats along with integrated headrests, M style leather finished steering wheel and paddle shifters.
Moving on to the list, the SUV is equipped with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with gesture controls, Harmon Kardon sound system, wireless charging, automatic climate-controlled A/c, panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable steering wheel, and much more.
Speaking about the engine, the X5 M is powered by 4.4-Liter twin-turbo petrol, which is capable of producing 625 Hp of power and 750 Nm of peak torque.
The 4.4-Liter twin-turbo is mated with an 8-speed automatic gearbox, delivering the power to all four wheels of the SUV.
Accordingly, the X5 M Competition is capable of doing 0-100 sprints in just 3.8-seconds and can go all the way to 250 KMPH, which is electronically locked.
The SUV comes with different drive modes, which also include- Track and sport mode.
Additionally, two braking options can also be selected depending upon the drive mode, named as comfort and sport. The braking options actually deliver the pedal feel accordingly.
Safety features in the X5 M include front and rear parking sensors along with a parking camera, park assist, adaptive LED headlights, pedestrian collision warning, and multiple airbags.
With the launch of the X5 M, the SUV will be competing with the Audi RS Q8 and Porsche Cayenne Turbo.
