Maruti Celerio 2021 Spotted
The 2021 Maruti Celerio has been spotted while testing. It is expected that the launch of the new Celerio may take place next year.
Setting the spy shots of the new generation of the car, it is clear that the dimensions have been increased proportionally.
The hatchback will be based on Maruti’s HEARTECT platform, in which the body weight is reduced to a certain amount.
Images of the car also reveal that it will also be getting a high ground clearance delivering better visibility and a longer wheelbase.
The front grille gets two different portions with the Suzuki logo dividing it into two parts equally.
Other features include halogen headlights, front foglamps, ORVMs with integrated turn indicators, alloy wheels, and a rear wiper.
Interiors will be equipped with a touchscreen infotainment screen, upgraded dashboard and steering wheel, manual A/c, 12V power output, and two cup holders.
The list concludes with keyless entry, dual front airbags, parking sensors, ABS, EBD, and a high-speed alert system.
Powering the new-generation Celerio will likely be a 1.0-Liter three-cylinder petrol engine, which will be producing power of 67 PS and 90 Nm of torque.
The 1.0-Liter petrol engine will be getting an option for the 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT transmissions.
