The list of the best sedans in India includes three different brands. The comparison will be based on the number of units sold last month.

Higher the number of sales of the car, the better it is, as if the sales units are high, then it is absolute that the car is performing well and the goodwill of the manufacturer in the market is higher than others.

1). Honda City

Honda City

Honda City is one of the most sold and trusted sedans in the Indian market, with great sales and service records.

The city is powered with 1.5-liter diesel and petrol engines, capable of producing 88 bhp & 200 Nm and 119 bhp & 145 Nm of power and torque respectively.

Along with the petrol engine, options for automatic (CVT) and 6-speed manual are available, but with the diesel motor, only 6-speed manual can opt.

Some of the equipped features include passive entry, electronic ORVMs with lane watch assist, sunroof, LED headlights, alloy wheels, and automatic rain-sensing wipers.

Maruti Suzuki always leads in the list of Best Sedans In India, and in every category sales list.

Ciaz is also powered with a 1.5-liter petrol engine, which is capable of churning out 103 bhp and 138 Nm of torque.

The 1.5-Liter petrol engine will be mated with a 5-speed manual or automatic 4-speed (torque converter)

Maruti Ciaz misses an option for the diesel engine.

Some of the equipped features include LED projectors, DRLS, passive entry, dual-toned alloys, electronically adjustable ORVMs, rear parking sensors, and automatic rain-sensing wipers.

3). Hyundai Verna

Hyundai verna

On the third position stands the Hyundai Verna with huge followings and sales. But with the launch of the City 5th generation, the position of the sedan was shifted downward.

Verna is also powered by 1.5-liter petrol and a diesel engine, which is capable of churning out 113 bhp & 144 Nm and 113 bhp & 250 Nm of power and torque respectively.

The 1.5-liter petrol and diesel engine will be having an option of both 6-speed manual and automatic (Dual Clutch 7 gears) (Torque Converter 6 gears).

Some features that differentiate the Verna are the ventilated front seats, wireless charging pad, Blue Link connected features.

Whereas the basic features offered in top-spec include LED headlights, sunroof, dual-tone alloys, passive entry, push-button start, and automatic climate-controlled A/c.
