Jeep Compass Facelift has been officially revealed in the Indian market. Earlier the 2021 Compass was launched in the Chinese automobile market.
Currently, Jeep India dealerships have begun taking the pre-bookings of the SUV, and soon the cars will also be available for demos and test drives.
With the facelift, the mechanicals of the Compass remains the same as earlier, but certainly, some exterior cosmetic changes can be witnessed at the front, whereas the interior gets a significant update with an all-new dashboard design and enhanced feature list.
The facelifted exterior of the SUV gets newly designed LED headlights with DRLs, a slimmer 7-slat radiator grille, repositioned fog lamps along with housing, a new bumper, and newly designed dual-tone alloys.
However, at the back, no changes can be seen with the same LED taillamps, sharkfin antenna, high-mount stop lamp, rear reflectors, and parking sensors.
Now, the most important and major update, the interiors. The interiors are now equipped with a new 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, a wireless charging pad, a large panoramic sunroof, automatic climate-controlled A/c, and a new steering wheel.
The list does not get to an end at this point as Compass is also equipped with a powered tailgate, 8-way electrically adjustable front seats with ventilation, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and connected car tech features.
Jeep Compass Facelift will be equipped with A 2.0-Liter diesel and A 1.4-Liter turbo-petrol engine, producing 170 bhp along with 350 Nm and 161 bhp along with 250 Nm of torque, respectively.
Both the engines will have an option to get the engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, or 7-speed DCT for petrol and 9-speed automatic transmission for diesel.
With the above mechanical specs, Jeep will also offer the 4×2 and 4×4 driving options.
It is expected that the launch may take place in the last week of January 2021, along with the updated pricing.
