Swift 2021 Facelift Spied Testing
Maruti Suzuki Swift 2021 has been spotted testing on the Indian roads for the first time, with some parts masked, indicating the minor exterior changes.
The exterior changes will include the newly designed front bumper, with a renewed front grille, which Maruti currently offers in the foreign markets consisting of a chrome line dividing the front grille into two parts.
Spotted models of the upcoming Swift were colored in dual-tone as contrast black roof and fire red-colored body.
It is also expected that the facelifted Swift will be outfitted with a set of newly designed alloys and an updated infotainment system with new features, updated interiors.
Whereas the International model of the Maruti Suzuki Swift is also equipped with a 360-degree parking camera and many more updated features, which we are not expecting in the facelifted Maruti Swift for the Indian markets.
Maruti Swift is currently powered by a 1.2-liter petrol (NA) naturally aspirated engine, which produces 90 PS of power, and the torque output happens to be 113 Nm.
The 1.2-liter petrol (NA) engine is available in a 5-speed transmission or a 5-speed AMT, while only the petrol engine can be opted for, as the diesel engine was earlier discontinued due to lack of fulfillment of the BS-VI norms.
With the launch of the Swift 2021, the car will be competing with Tata Tiago and Hyundai i10 Nios.
