Kawasaki Ninja 650 2021 Now To Be Offered With Two New Colours.
The updated Kawasaki Ninja 650 has been launched in the Indian market with a price tag of Rupees 6.61 Lakhs (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
The newly introduced middleweight bike made its debut in the global market months back. With the addition of two new colors- Lime Green and Pearl Robotic White, pricing of the bike has gone up by Rupees 7,000/-.
In terms of design language, the bike remains unchanged and similar to its sibling, the Ninja ZX 6R, with the aggressive front fascia, twin-LED headlights & DRLS, improved windshield, 17-inch blacked-out alloys, and Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 rubber.
Kawasaki Ninja 650 2021 further gets a 6-inch TFT instrument cluster (carried from previous variants), with BlueTooth & smartphone-connected features. The smartphone of the rider can be connected through the Radiology app.
Ninja 650 comes paired to a 649-Cc parallel-twin, oil-cooled petrol engine, producing 68 PS @ 8,000 rpm & 64 Nm @ 6,400 rpm ,respectively. The 649-cc engine, is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and also has a slipper clutch.
Other mechanicals of the bike includes a 41mm telescopic fork at the front and an adjustable horizontal back-link mono-shock at the rear, 17-inch wheels with 120/70-section tires at the front, and 160/60-section at the rear, 15-liter fuel tank, etc.
The bike also gets semi-floating 300 mm discs with dual-piston calipers up front and a 220 mm disc with a single-piston caliper at the back.
Kawasaki Ninja 650 currently rivals the Aprilia 650 & the Honda CBR 650R in the Indian market.
