The Kawasaki Vulcan S Now Will Be Offered In A Single Color Option.
2022 Kawasaki Vulcan S has been launched in the Indian market with a price tag of Rupees 6.10 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The cruiser now costs Rupees 6000/- more if compared to the 2021 Vulcan S.
With the introduction of the 2022 variant cruiser, Kawasaki has discontinued all the color schemes and now only offers the Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray color.
Grey color remains predominant on the Vulcan S, but certain Green decals on the fuel tank, radiator grille, and rims can be noticed. Overall, the design of the cruiser remains unchanged.
Unlike most recent Kawasaki bikes that get a fully digital TFT instrument display with smartphone connectivity, Vulcan S misses out on that and gets a semi-digital instrument cluster with a tachometer, trip meters, gear position indicator, ABS indicator, and a fuel level indicator.
In terms of powertrain, Vulcan S comes with a 649-Cc, oil-cooled, parallel-twin engine, which produces 61 PS @ 7,500 rpm and 62.4 Nm @ 6600 rpm. The 649 Cc engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
Kawasaki Vulcan S continues to ride on 41 mm telescopic forks with 130 mm front wheel travel and offset laydown mono-shock with 80 mm rear-wheel travel, while for braking the cruiser gets a 300 mm front disc and 250 mm rear disc, both equipped with ABS.
Other features include a tear-drop-shaped fuel tank with 14-liters of fuel holding capacity, Kawasaki Egrofit system that permits the rider to customize the pitch of the handlebar, and the footpeg according to the preferred height by the rider while the rider also has various seat alternatives according to the comfort.
