MG Hector Shine Trim Will Be Offered With Petrol MT, Petrol CVT & Diesel MT.
MG Motors India has launched the Hector Shine variants, which are placed between the Style & Super variants and have been priced from Rupees 14.52 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
Hector Shine variant will be available in both petrol and diesel engines, but unfortunately the diesel engine misses out on automatic transmission and will only be offered with a manual transmission.
Placed between the Style and Super variants, the Shine variant will be equipped with features like an electric sunroof, keyless entry, push-button ignition, electric parking brakes (EPB), and 17-inch alloys.
Additionally, MG Hector Shine trim owners can pay an extra amount and opt for an accessories pack which will include items like a wireless charging pad, steering wheel cover, sunshades, 3D floor mats, and an air purifier system.
Exteriors of the SUV mostly remain unchanged with features like LED headlights with DRL’s, newly designed 17-inch alloy wheels, electric ORVM’s with integrated indicators, roof rails, front chrome grille surround and, sloping roofline.
With the launch of the ‘Shine’ variant, the manufacturer also introduced ‘Havana Grey’ exterior color in the entire Hector range.
In terms of powertrain, the SUV will be offered with a 1.5-liter Turbo petrol engine producing 143 PS & 250 Nm and a 2.0-liter Turbo diesel engine producing 170 PS & 350 Nm.
The petrol engine option comes with an option of 6-speed manual transmission & CVT transmission, whereas only 6-speed manual transmission, is offered with the diesel engine.
