Earlier, the near production-spec Tata HBX was showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo, which was the last official glimpse of the Tata HBX until now.
The manufacturer has confirmed that the official release will be taking place on 23 August 2021.
The video highlights the front fascia with Harrier & Safari type LED DRL’s and the hexagonal LED taillamp cluster at the rear. As of now, the design and other aspects of the Tata HBX remain a mystery.
Tata HBX earlier was spotted at a dealer’s service station, which uncovered elements like dual-tone alloy wheels, massive cladding on either side, halogen front fog lamps, ORVM integrated turn indicators, and rear door handles positioned like the Maruti Swift.
The interiors might get a floating touchscreen system, manual A/c, semi-digital instrument cluster, square-shaped A/c vents, etc.
The mini SUV is expected to be equipped with a 1.2-liter petrol engine, producing 85 PS and 113 Nm of torque. while transmission options are likely to include a 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT.
The entry-level SUV will be competing with Maruti Ignis, Mahindra KUV100, and the upcoming Hyundai AX1.
